Polymyxin B is an antibiotic drug derived from the bacteria Bacillus polymyxa. It is primarily used to treat infections caused by gram-negative bacteria, including E. coli, Klebsiella, and Pseudomonas. It is used as an injectable and topically as eyed drops, ear drops, cream. It can be used alone or in combination with other antibiotics.
