Dermovate Cream 20gm is a topical medication that combines two active ingredients: clobetasol & salicylic acid. Clobetasol is a potent corticosteroid, while salicylic acid is a keratolytic agent. This combination is used to treat various inflammatory skin conditions and disorders associated with hyperkeratosis (excessive skin thickening).

Indications:

Dermovate Cream is indicated for:

• Management of inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis.
• Treatment of hyperkeratotic skin disorders like psoriasis and corns.

Dosage and Administration:

• Apply Dermovate Cream sparingly to the affected area(s) once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Gently rub the cream into the skin until it is absorbed.
• Wash hands thoroughly after application unless the hands are the treated area.
• Avoid applying the cream to broken or infected skin, the face, or areas near the eyes.

Precautions:

• Dermovate Cream should not be used for extended periods or on large areas of skin without medical supervision, as it may cause skin thinning or other adverse effects.
• Discontinue use if skin irritation or sensitivity develops and consult a healthcare professional.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Do not use occlusive dressings unless directed by a healthcare professional.
• Keep out of reach of children.
