Isotrate 10mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Isosorbide Mononitrate, which belongs to a class of medications called nitrates. It is used to prevent and treat chest pain (angina) caused by coronary artery disease.

• It works by dilating blood vessels, especially veins, which reduces the workload of the heart and improves blood flow to the heart muscle, relieving chest pain.

Side Effects:

Common side effects of Isotrate 10mg Tablet may include headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, flushing, and low blood pressure (hypotension). These side effects are usually temporary and may resolve with continued use.

Precautions:

• Before taking Isotrate tablets, inform your doctor about any medical conditions you have, especially low blood pressure, recent heart attack, or kidney or liver disease.
• Use caution when rising from a sitting or lying position, as Isotrate tablets may cause dizziness or lightheadedness, especially when standing up quickly.
