Kenacomb Cream 20gm

Kenacomb Cream 20gm is a combination medication containing four active ingredients Triamcinolone a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, itching, and redness. Neomycin  an antibiotic that treats or prevents bacterial infections. Gramicidin  an antibiotic that treats or prevents bacterial infections. Nystatin: an antifungal medication that treats fungal infections.

Indications:

Kenacomb Cream is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions complicated by secondary bacterial or fungal infections, including:

• Eczema
• Dermatitis
• Psoriasis
• Intertrigo
• Contact dermatitis
• Impetigo
• Perianal and genital dermatoses
• Infected insect bites
• Other corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses

Dosage and Administration:

• Wash and dry the affected area(s) of the skin before applying Kenacomb Cream.
• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area(s) two to four times daily, or as directed by your healthcare provider.
• Gently rub the cream into the skin until it is absorbed.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream, unless your hands are the affected area.

Precautions:

• Avoid using Kenacomb Cream on broken or infected skin, unless directed by your doctor.
• Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings or bandages, unless instructed by a healthcare professional.
• Prolonged use of corticosteroids may lead to skin thinning, stretch marks, or other skin changes.
• Discontinue use and consult your doctor if irritation or sensitization occurs.

Contraindications:

Kenacomb Cream is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of its components or to other corticosteroids, aminoglycoside antibiotics, or polyenes.

Side Effects:

Common side effects of Kenacomb Cream may include:

• Burning or stinging sensation at the application site
• Itching
• Irritation
• Dryness
• Allergic contact dermatitis
• Secondary infection
• Hypopigmentation (lightening of the skin)

Storage:

• Store Kenacomb Cream at room temperature (20-25°C) away from heat and moisture.
• Keep the cream out of reach of children and pets.
