Lotricort G 15gm Cream is a combination medication containing three active ingredients: Betamethasone & Clotrimazole, Gentamicin. It is primarily used to treat a variety of fungal infections of the skin along with bacterial infections. Betamethasone is a corticosteroid that helps reduce itching, redness, and inflammation associated with skin conditions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal agent that combats fungal infections, while Gentamicin is an antibiotic that fights bacterial infections.

Uses:

Lotricort G 15gm Cream is indicated for the treatment of fungal infections such as athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis), and yeast infections (cutaneous candidiasis). Additionally, it is effective in treating bacterial skin infections. The combination of Betamethasone, Clotrimazole, and Gentamicin provides comprehensive relief from symptoms like itching, burning, inflammation, and bacterial superinfection.

Directions for Use:

Apply a thin layer of Lotricort G Cream to the affected area(s) of the skin and surrounding area(s), and gently rub it in until absorbed. Wash your hands thoroughly after application, unless the hands are the affected area. Use the cream as directed by your doctor, usually 2-3 times daily for the prescribed duration of treatment. It is important to continue using the cream for the full course of treatment, even if symptoms improve, to ensure the infection is completely eradicated.

Precautions:

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. If the cream accidentally gets into these areas, rinse with plenty of water.
• Do not use Lotricort G Cream on broken or damaged skin unless directed by a healthcare professional.
• Do not use this cream for longer than the prescribed duration or in larger amounts than recommended.
• If irritation or sensitization occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
• Keep out of reach of children.
