Mutrum 2% Ointment 15gm

Mutrum 2% Ointment contains Mupirocin, an antibiotic medication used to treat skin infections caused by certain bacteria. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby killing or inhibiting the growth of susceptible bacteria.

Uses:

• Nasal Decolonization: It may also be used to eradicate methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) bacteria from the nasal passages of individuals at risk of MRSA colonization or infection.

Directions for Use:

• Clean the affected area of the skin thoroughly before applying Mutrum 2% Ointment.
• Apply a thin layer of the ointment to the affected area, gently massaging it into the skin until absorbed.
• Wash your hands after applying the ointment to prevent the spread of infection.
• The frequency of application and duration of treatment may vary depending on the severity of the infection and your healthcare provider’s instructions.

Precautions:

• Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes when applying Mutrum 2% Ointment.
