• Prophylaxis of invasive fungal infections in immunocompromised patients at high risk for fungal infections, such as those undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

Mechanism of Action:

Voriconazole exerts its antifungal activity by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase, which is involved in the conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol in the fungal cell membrane.
