Olagen Plus 3/25mg Capsule is a combination medication containing two active ingredients: Olanzapine & Fluoxetine. Olanzapine is an antipsychotic medication belonging to the class of thienobenzodiazepines, while Fluoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. This combination capsule is used in the treatment of certain mental health disorders, particularly bipolar depression and treatment-resistant depression.

Uses:

Olagen Plus 3/25mg Capsule is primarily prescribed for the management of bipolar depression and treatment-resistant depression in adults. Olanzapine acts by blocking the action of dopamine and serotonin receptors in the brain, thereby helping to stabilize mood and alleviate symptoms of depression. Fluoxetine works by increasing serotonin levels in the brain, enhancing mood regulation. Together, these medications provide a synergistic effect in treating depressive symptoms.

Side Effects:
