Description

Rosoz Injection contains Ferric Carboxymaltose as its active ingredient. Ferric Carboxymaltose is a complex of iron (III) hydroxide and carboxymaltose used for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia. It works by replenishing iron stores in the body, thereby increasing hemoglobin levels and improving symptoms associated with iron deficiency.

Uses:

Rosoz Injection is indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in adult patients who have intolerance to oral iron preparations or have had an inadequate response to oral iron or when rapid iron replenishment is required. It is particularly useful in patients with chronic diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease, chronic kidney disease, or heart failure who cannot tolerate oral iron therapy or in whom oral iron therapy is ineffective.

Side Effects:

Like any medication, Rosoz Injection may cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Common side effects may include headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, joint pain, muscle pain, or injection site reactions such as pain, swelling, or redness. In some cases, it may cause more serious side effects such as allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling), hypotension (low blood pressure), or anaphylaxis. If any adverse reactions occur, it’s essential to seek medical attention promptly.

Precautions:

Before using Rosoz Injection, it’s important to inform your healthcare provider about any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or medications you are currently taking. Special precautions may be necessary for individuals with a history of hypersensitivity reactions to parenteral iron products, hemochromatosis, or other iron overload disorders. Close monitoring of blood pressure and iron parameters is recommended during treatment. Rosoz Injection should be administered by healthcare professionals trained in the management of iron deficiency anemia.

Contraindications (When Not to Use):

Rosoz Injection should not be used in certain circumstances. It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ferric carboxymaltose or any of the components of the formulation. It should also be avoided in patients with evidence of iron overload or disturbances in iron utilization (e.g., hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, or anemia not related to iron deficiency).
