Rosurot 5mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Rosuvastatin, which belongs to a class of medications known as statins. Statins are commonly used to lower cholesterol levels in the blood and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events.

Uses:

Rosurot 5mg Tablet is prescribed to manage elevated levels of cholesterol in the blood. Rosuvastatin works by inhibiting an enzyme involved in cholesterol production, leading to a reduction in low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, often referred to as “bad” cholesterol, as well as triglycerides. Additionally, it may increase high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, often known as “good” cholesterol.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include muscle pain, weakness, and gastrointestinal symptoms. Rare but serious side effects may include liver problems and an increased risk of diabetes. It’s important to report any unusual or severe side effects to your healthcare provider.
