Valmo 10/160mg Tablet is a combination medication containing two active ingredients: Amlodipine, Valsartan . It is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) by addressing different aspects of blood pressure regulation.

Active Ingredients:

• Amlodipine: A calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure.
• Valsartan: An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that blocks the action of angiotensin II, a substance that constricts blood vessels, leading to decreased blood pressure.

Uses:

Valmo 10/160mg Tablet is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy.

Mechanism of Action:

• Amlodipine inhibits calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle cells, leading to vasodilation and reduced peripheral vascular resistance.
