Vonov 10mg Tablet

Vonov 10mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Vonoprazan, which is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat acid-related gastrointestinal disorders.

Uses:

Vonov 10mg Tablet is primarily prescribed for the following conditions:

• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): A condition characterized by the reflux of stomach acid into the esophagus, causing heartburn and other symptoms.
• Gastric Ulcers: Ulcers in the lining of the stomach, often caused by Helicobacter pylori infection or prolonged use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
• Duodenal Ulcers: Ulcers in the upper part of the small intestine, commonly associated with Helicobacter pylori infection or NSAID use.
• Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: A rare condition characterized by the overproduction of stomach acid.

Mechanism of Action:

Vonoprazan works by irreversibly blocking the proton pump in the stomach lining, thereby reducing the production of stomach acid. This helps to alleviate symptoms of acid-related disorders and promote healing of ulcers.

Administration:

Take the tablet orally, usually once daily, with or without food, as directed by your healthcare provider. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Side Effects:
