Voxver 20mg Tablet

Voxver 20mg Tablet contains Vortioxetine as its active ingredient. Vortioxetine is a serotonin modulator and stimulator (SMS) antidepressant used in the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults. It works by enhancing serotonin activity in the brain, which is involved in regulating mood.

Indications:

Voxver 20mg Tablet is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults.

Dosage and Administration:

• The recommended starting dosage of Voxver 20mg Tablet is usually 10 mg once daily, with or without food.
• Based on individual response and tolerability, the dosage may be increased to 20 mg once daily after at least one week of treatment.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water, and do not crush, chew, or break it.

Precautions:

• Use Voxver 20mg Tablet with caution in patients with a history of suicidal thoughts or behaviors, as antidepressants may increase the risk of suicidal thinking and behavior.
• Patients should be monitored for signs of worsening depression, suicidal ideation, or unusual changes in behavior.
• Avoid abrupt discontinuation of Voxver 20mg Tablet, as this may lead to withdrawal symptoms.

Contraindications:

• Voxver 20mg Tablet is contraindicated in patients with a hypersensitivity to vortioxetine or any components of the formulation.
• Concomitant use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or linezolid is contraindicated due to the risk of serotonin syndrome.
