Zolmig 2.5mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Zolmitriptan. It belongs to a class of medications called triptans, which are used to treat migraine headaches. Zolmitriptan works by narrowing blood vessels in the brain and blocking the release of certain natural substances that cause migraine symptoms.

Uses:

• Migraine treatment: Zolmig Tablet is prescribed to relieve migraine headaches with or without aura (a sensory disturbance that may precede a migraine attack) in adults.
• Symptom relief: Zolmitriptan helps alleviate migraine symptoms such as headache, nausea, sensitivity to light and sound, and other associated symptoms.

Side Effects:

Precautions:

When Not to Use:

Avoid using Zolmig 2.5mg Tablet if:

• You have a history of heart disease, including angina, heart attack, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
• You are taking certain medications that may interact with Zolmitriptan, such as ergotamine derivatives or monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
