BACLOFEN

Baclofen is a muscle relaxant that relieves stiffness and spasm caused by conditions affecting the nerves and muscles. It is taken regularly.

What Baclofen Is Used For

• Muscle stiffness and spasm in conditions such as multiple sclerosis
• Spasm after spinal injury

Common Side Effects

• Drowsiness
• Dizziness
• Weakness or tiredness

Precautions

Do not stop baclofen suddenly after regular use, as this can cause withdrawal effects – the dose is reduced gradually. It can cause drowsiness, so take care with driving until you know how it affects you, and avoid alcohol. Tell your doctor about any kidney problems.
