Precautions

Because the mix is fixed, meals need to be reasonably regular in timing and size, and skipping a meal after injecting is what causes most hypos. Roll the pen gently until evenly cloudy before each dose. Rotate injection sites, carry glucose at all times, and never change the ratio or the dose without your doctor.
