Description

Artheget Junior Syrup is a pediatric formulation containing Artemether & Lumefantrine. Artemether is an artemisinin derivative with potent antimalarial activity against Plasmodium falciparum, the parasite responsible for causing malaria. Lumefantrine is a synthetic antimalarial drug that acts by inhibiting the formation of hemozoin, a toxic byproduct of the digestion of hemoglobin by the malaria parasite. This combination is used in the treatment of uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum in pediatric patients.

Uses:

Artheget Junior Syrup is indicated for the treatment of uncomplicated malaria infections caused by Plasmodium falciparum in pediatric patients aged 6 months to 12 years.
