Ciproquine 250mg Tablet contains Ciprofloxacin as its active ingredient. Ciprofloxacin belongs to a class of antibiotics known as fluoroquinolones. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacteria.

Uses:

• Bacterial infections: Ciproquine Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, gastrointestinal infections, and bone and joint infections.
• Anthrax exposure: In some cases, Ciprofloxacin may be used as a preventive measure or treatment for anthrax exposure.
• Traveler’s diarrhea: It is sometimes prescribed to prevent or treat traveler’s diarrhea caused by certain bacteria.

Side Effects:

• Common side effects of Ciprofloxacin may include:
  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Headache
  • Dizziness
  • Rash
• Serious side effects are rare but may include tendon rupture, peripheral neuropathy, allergic reactions, and Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea.

Precautions:
