Diprocort G Ointment is a combination medication containing two active ingredients: Betamethasone Dipropionate and Gentamicin. It is formulated as an ointment for topical application to the skin.

Active Ingredients:

Uses:Diprocort G Ointment is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory dermatoses (skin conditions) where secondary bacterial infections are present or likely to occur. Some of the conditions it may be used to treat include:

• Dermatitis
• Psoriasis
• Allergic reactions
• Insect bites
• Minor skin infections

Mechanism of Action:

• Betamethasone Dipropionate exerts its effects by binding to intracellular glucocorticoid receptors, leading to the modulation of gene expression and inhibition of inflammatory mediators.
• Gentamicin works by binding to bacterial ribosomes and interfering with protein synthesis, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth and killing susceptible bacteria.

Administration:Apply a thin layer of Diprocort G Ointment to the affected area(s) of the skin, typically 1-3 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Wash your hands before and after application, and avoid getting the ointment in your eyes, nose, or mouth.

Side Effects:Common side effects of Diprocort G Ointment may include:

Precautions:
