Erlina 25/5mg Tablet is a combination medication that contains two active ingredients: Empagliflozin & Linagliptin. It is prescribed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Components:

• Empagliflozin: Belongs to the class of medications known as sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. It works by promoting the excretion of glucose through the urine, leading to lower blood sugar levels.
• Linagliptin: Is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that helps increase the levels of incretin hormones. This, in turn, stimulates the release of insulin and reduces the production of glucose by the liver.
