Isotrate 40mg Tablet contains the active ingredient isosorbide mononitrate, which belongs to the class of drugs known as nitrate vasodilators.

Description:

Isotrate is formulated as an oral tablet for administration. It works by dilating blood vessels, which helps to increase blood flow and reduce the workload on the heart.

Uses:

• Isotrate is primarily used in the management of angina pectoris (chest pain) due to coronary artery disease.
• It helps to prevent or relieve episodes of chest pain by widening the blood vessels, thereby improving blood flow to the heart muscle.

Side Effects:
