TELARB PLUS 40/5MG TABLET

TELARB PLUS 40/5mg Tablet is a combination medication that contains two active ingredients: Telmisartan and Amlodipine. Telmisartan belongs to a class of drugs known as angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs), and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). This combination medication is used to manage hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults when adequate blood pressure control is not achieved with monotherapy (using one medication alone).

Uses:

TELARB PLUS 40/5mg Tablet is prescribed for the following conditions:

1. Hypertension: It is used to treat high blood pressure in patients when a combination of two antihypertensive drugs is necessary to achieve blood pressure control.

Side Effects:

4. Severe Kidney Impairment: The use of TELARB PLUS 40/5mg Tablet should be avoided in patients with severe kidney impairment or end-stage renal disease.
5. Combination with Aliskiren: This medication should not be used in combination with Aliskiren in patients with diabetes or kidney impairment.
