ZOFRAN 8MG TABLET

Zofran 8mg Tablet contains Ondansetron as its active ingredient. Ondansetron is a selective serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist primarily used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or surgery. It works by blocking serotonin, a natural substance in the body that can trigger nausea and vomiting.

Uses:

Zofran 8mg Tablet is indicated for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. It is particularly effective in preventing chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) and post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV). Additionally, it may also be prescribed off-label for the management of nausea and vomiting related to other medical conditions or treatments.

Side Effects:
