  • Peptic Ulcers: Omcap is also prescribed to heal and prevent recurrence of peptic ulcers (ulcers in the stomach or duodenum) caused by Helicobacter pylori infection or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
  • Erosive Esophagitis: It is used to treat erosive esophagitis, a condition characterized by inflammation and damage to the lining of the esophagus caused by stomach acid.
  • Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Omcap may be used in the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a rare condition characterized by the overproduction of stomach acid.
