OXCARBAZEPINE
Oxcarbazepine is an anti-epileptic medicine used to control seizures. It is related to carbamazepine and the dose is built up gradually.

- Epilepsy, to prevent and control seizures
- Used alone or with other anti-epileptic medicines
Common Side Effects
- Drowsiness and dizziness
- Nausea
- Double vision
- Headache
Precautions
Never stop oxcarbazepine suddenly, as this can trigger seizures. Tell your doctor about any new skin rash, and about tiredness, confusion or nausea, which can occasionally signal low sodium. It can make you drowsy, so take care with driving until you know how it affects you.
