CAPTOPRIL
Captopril is an ACE inhibitor that relaxes blood vessels to lower blood pressure and ease the heart’s workload. It is used for blood pressure and heart failure.

Precautions
A persistent dry cough is a known effect of ACE inhibitors – tell your doctor if it bothers you. Stand up slowly when you first start. Your doctor may check kidney function and potassium. Captopril must not be taken during pregnancy.
