Precautions
Tell your doctor if you have ever had an allergic reaction to a penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotic. Avoid alcohol during treatment and for a few days after it, because cefoperazone can cause flushing, a fast heartbeat and sickness with alcohol. It can affect blood clotting, so your doctor may check this, especially with long treatment.
