Precautions

Do not stop clomipramine suddenly – the dose is lowered slowly. It can take a few weeks to feel the full benefit. It commonly causes drowsiness and a dry mouth, so take care with driving until you know how it affects you, and avoid alcohol. Tell your doctor about any heart problems.
