DILTIAZEM
Diltiazem is a calcium channel blocker used for high blood pressure and angina. It relaxes blood vessels and eases the heart’s workload.

Common Side Effects
- Ankle swelling
- Headache
- Slow heartbeat
Precautions
Take slow-release forms whole, without crushing. Do not stop diltiazem on your own, as symptoms can return. Tell your doctor about a very slow heartbeat, dizziness or swelling. Grapefruit juice can raise the level in the body, so avoid it.
