Fluconazole is an antifungal medicine used to treat and prevent fungal and yeast infections. It comes as capsules, suspension and injection.

Precautions
A single dose is often enough for simple thrush, but longer courses need a doctor’s guidance. Fluconazole interacts with several medicines, so tell your doctor everything you take. It is generally avoided in pregnancy unless a doctor advises otherwise.
