FLUOXETINE
Fluoxetine is an antidepressant from the SSRI group, used for depression and several anxiety-related conditions. It is taken once a day and works gradually.

Common Side Effects
- Nausea, especially early on
- Difficulty sleeping
- Headache
- Reduced appetite
Precautions
Do not stop fluoxetine suddenly – the dose is lowered slowly under a doctor’s guidance. It can take three to four weeks to feel the full benefit, so keep taking it. Tell your doctor if you feel unusually low or restless in the early weeks, and avoid alcohol.
