Leflunomide is a disease-modifying medicine (DMARD) used for rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis. It works on the immune system to reduce joint damage over time.

Precautions
Your doctor will monitor your blood pressure, liver and blood counts during treatment. Leflunomide must not be used in pregnancy and stays in the body for a long time, so reliable contraception is important – discuss this with your doctor. Avoid alcohol while taking it.
