Motadil
Sharbat Bazoori Motadil is a classical Unani preparation made from seeds and herbs in a sugar syrup base. It is taken traditionally to support urine flow and to ease the burning and discomfort associated with concentrated urine.
What It Is Traditionally Used For
- Burning sensation while passing urine
- Supporting urine flow and flushing
- General urinary and kidney tonic use
- Cooling drink in hot weather
Common Side Effects
- Loose motions in some people
- Effect on blood sugar from the syrup base
- Stomach discomfort
Precautions
Most of these preparations are sugar based, which matters for anyone with diabetes. Drinking enough plain water does more for urinary comfort than any syrup. Burning urine with fever, back pain, blood in the urine, or symptoms lasting more than a couple of days points to an infection or a stone and needs a doctor and often an antibiotic, not a tonic.
