PREGABALIN
Pregabalin is used mainly for nerve-related pain and for certain seizure and anxiety conditions. It calms overactive nerve signals in the brain and nervous system, and the dose is usually built up gradually.
What Pregabalin Is Used For
- Nerve pain, such as in diabetes or after shingles
- Epilepsy, as part of seizure control
- Generalised anxiety disorder

- Drowsiness and dizziness
- Difficulty concentrating
- Weight gain
- Mild swelling of the hands or feet
Precautions
Do not stop pregabalin suddenly – the dose is lowered slowly under a doctor’s guidance. It can make you drowsy, so take care with driving until you know how it affects you. Tell your doctor if you notice low mood or changes in mood. This medicine should be taken exactly as prescribed and not shared with others.
