  • Acid reflux and heartburn (GERD)
  • Stomach and duodenal ulcers
  • Part of combination treatment for H. pylori

Common Side Effects

  • Constipation or diarrhoea
  • Headache
  • Nausea

Precautions

Vonoprazan is meant for a defined course rather than indefinite daily use without review. See a doctor if heartburn keeps returning after a course, or if you notice weight loss, difficulty swallowing or black stools. Tell your doctor about all other medicines you take.
