Side Effects

Like all medicines, Telday 80mg tablet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

  • Dizziness, especially when starting

  • Tiredness
  • Back pain

Precautions

Blood pressure medicines can make you feel dizzy when you first start or raise the dose, so stand up slowly. Your doctor may check kidney function and potassium from time to time. Telmisartan must not be taken during pregnancy – tell your doctor straight away if you become pregnant or plan to.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
