DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE
Doxazosin relaxes blood vessels and the muscle around the prostate. It is used for high blood pressure and for urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate.

Common Side Effects
- Dizziness, especially on standing
- Headache
- Tiredness
Precautions
Doxazosin can lower blood pressure sharply with the first dose, so take the first dose at bedtime and stand up slowly. Tell your eye surgeon you take it before any cataract surgery, as it can affect the procedure. Do not stop it on your own.
