Itraconazole is an antifungal medicine taken by mouth for fungal infections of the skin, nails and, sometimes, deeper infections. It comes as capsules and solution.

Precautions
Take the capsules with a full meal for better absorption. Itraconazole interacts with several medicines, so give your doctor a full list of what you take. Tell your doctor about any heart or liver problems, and report yellowing of the skin or eyes.
