Precautions
Replacing lost fluids and salts is the most important step in diarrhoea. Do not use loperamide if there is blood in the stool or a high fever, and see a doctor in those cases. Do not exceed the amount on the pack, and see a doctor if diarrhoea lasts more than a couple of days.
