MISOPROSTOL
Misoprostol has several uses: it protects the stomach lining against ulcers from painkillers, and it is used in certain gynaecological and obstetric situations under medical supervision.

- Diarrhoea
- Stomach cramps
- Nausea
Precautions
Misoprostol must not be used in pregnancy for stomach protection, as it can cause miscarriage – its obstetric uses are strictly supervised by doctors. If it is prescribed to protect your stomach, tell your doctor if you could be pregnant. Take it with food to reduce diarrhoea.
