Antasip Suspension 120ml products are used for quick relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach and discomfort after meals. Many combine aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide, and some also contain simethicone for trapped wind or an alginate to help stop acid rising into the food pipe. They ease symptoms but do not heal ulcers or treat the cause of repeated acidity.
How Antasip Suspension 120ml works
Antacids are alkaline salts that react with stomach acid and neutralise it, so the stomach contents become less acidic and less irritating within minutes. Simethicone helps small gas bubbles join together so wind passes more easily, and alginates form a protective layer on top of the stomach contents.

- Some liquids contain a lot of sodium, which matters if you have heart failure or high blood pressure or are on a low-salt diet.
