Overview
Bepra 10mg tablet contains Rabeprazole. It comes as a tablet. The pack contains 10's tablet.
Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It reduces the amount of acid the stomach makes.
Uses of Bepra 10mg tablet
Bepra 10mg tablet is used for:
- Heartburn and acid reflux (GERD)
- Stomach and duodenal ulcers
- Clearing H. pylori infection, with antibiotics
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
Side Effects
Like all medicines, Bepra 10mg tablet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:
- Headache
- Diarrhoea
- Stomach pain or wind
- Nausea
Tell your doctor if a side effect is severe or does not go away.
Precautions
Long-term use can lower magnesium and vitamin B12 and may weaken bones, so it is best used for the time advised. Tell your doctor about liver disease, and see a doctor if you have trouble swallowing, weight loss or black stools.
Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
How to Use
Take Bepra 10mg tablet exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
