Because alfacalcidol is a potent, active vitamin D, your doctor will check your blood calcium during treatment and adjust the dose carefully. Do not take extra calcium or vitamin D supplements unless advised. Report unusual thirst, frequent urination or drowsiness.
Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Take Cadla Tablets 0.5mg exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
