Diocid 80mg tablet contains Gliclazide (80mg). It comes as a tablet. The pack contains 3×10's tablet.
Gliclazide belongs to the sulfonylurea group of diabetes medicines. It works by helping the pancreas release more of its own insulin, and is taken with meals.
Uses of Diocid 80mg tablet
Diocid 80mg tablet is used for:
- Type 2 diabetes in adults
- Often combined with metformin when one medicine is not enough
Side Effects
Like all medicines, Diocid 80mg tablet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:
- Low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
- Weight gain
- Nausea or stomach discomfort

Precautions
