Active Ingredient:

Uses:

Esopulse Capsule 20mg is indicated for the following conditions:

• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): To relieve symptoms such as heartburn, acid regurgitation, and chest pain caused by stomach acid flowing back into the esophagus.
• Peptic Ulcers: To promote healing and prevent recurrence of ulcers in the stomach or duodenum.
• Helicobacter pylori Infection: As part of combination therapy to eradicate H. pylori bacteria, which can contribute to peptic ulcers and gastritis.
• Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: To manage excessive gastric acid production associated with this rare disorder.

Mechanism of Action:

Esomeprazole inhibits the H+/K+-ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells, which is responsible for the final step of acid production in the stomach. By blocking this proton pump, esomeprazole effectively reduces gastric acid secretion, leading to a decrease in acidity levels in the stomach and relief from acid-related symptoms.

Administration:
