Fomen 90Ml Syrup is mainly prescribed for treating acidity, heartburn, reflux and stomach or duodenal ulcers. Your doctor may also recommend it for related conditions, but you should use it only for the purpose it was prescribed.
Used correctly, it quickly relieves acid symptoms and helps ulcers heal.
The active ingredient is Famotidine. It blocks histamine H2 receptors in the stomach to cut acid secretion. This targeted action is what makes it effective for its approved uses.
Always take it exactly as your doctor prescribes. The right amount depends on your age, condition and response, so never increase, reduce or stop it on your own. If you are unsure, check the leaflet or ask your pharmacist.
