Overview

Havocol Tablet contains the active ingredient Mecobalamin, which is a form of vitamin B12. Mecobalamin is a naturally occurring coenzyme involved in various essential processes in the body, including the formation of red blood cells, maintenance of nerve function, and synthesis of DNA.

Uses

  • Vitamin B12 deficiency: Havocol Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of vitamin B12 deficiency, which can occur due to inadequate dietary intake, malabsorption disorders, or certain medical conditions.
  • Neuropathy: Mecobalamin is used as a supplement to alleviate symptoms of neuropathy, including numbness, tingling, and pain in the hands and feet, especially in individuals with diabetic neuropathy or other neuropathic disorders.
  • Anemia: It may be used as an adjunct therapy in the management of certain types of anemia, particularly megaloblastic anemia, which is characterized by enlarged red blood cells and low levels of vitamin B12.

Directions for Use

  • Take Havocol Tablet as directed by your healthcare provider.
  • Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
  • It may be taken with or without food.
  • Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet unless advised by your doctor.

Precautions

  • Inform your healthcare provider about any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or ongoing medications before starting Mecobalamin therapy.
  • If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using Havocol Tablet.
