Navezole 15mg capsule contains Lansoprazole (15mg). It comes as a capsule. The pack contains 10s capsule.

Lansoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid. It is usually taken before a meal, most often before breakfast.

Uses of Navezole 15mg capsule

Navezole 15mg capsule is used for:

  • Acidity, heartburn and acid reflux (GERD)
  • Stomach and duodenal ulcers
  • Part of combination treatment for H. pylori

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Navezole 15mg capsule can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

  • Headache
  • Diarrhoea or constipation
  • Nausea

Tell your doctor if a side effect is severe or does not go away.

Precautions

Lansoprazole is meant for a defined course rather than indefinite daily use without review. Long-term use can lower magnesium and vitamin B12. See a doctor if heartburn keeps returning after a course, or if you notice weight loss, difficulty swallowing or black stools.

Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How to Use

Take Navezole 15mg capsule exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
