Uses

Nebtec 5mg Tablet is primarily prescribed for the following conditions:

  • Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): To lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke and heart attack.
  • Heart Failure: To improve symptoms and reduce the risk of hospitalization and mortality in patients with heart failure.

Mechanism of Action

Nebivolol works by selectively blocking beta-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart and blood vessels. By doing so, it reduces the heart rate and the force of contraction, thereby lowering blood pressure and improving cardiac function.

Administration
