Orcydex Eye Drop is an eye drop combining an antibiotic and a steroid, containing Tobramycin & Dexamethasone, Eye. It is available as an eye preparation for convenient use.
Orcydex Eye Drop
Orcydex Eye Drop is prescribed for treating eye inflammation with, or at risk of, bacterial infection. Use it only as advised by your doctor.
Used correctly, it reduces eye inflammation while treating or preventing infection.
The active ingredient is Tobramycin & Dexamethasone, Eye. It combines an antibiotic with an anti-inflammatory steroid.
Take exactly the dose your doctor prescribes. Do not change or stop it without medical advice.
Possible Side Effects include stinging, blurred vision or raised eye pressure with long use. Tell your doctor if any are severe or persistent.
Use only for the prescribed period; needs eye-pressure checks if used long. Also tell your doctor about your allergies and other medicines.
Store as directed, keep closed, and discard within four weeks of opening unless told otherwise.
